"The
very last design is the one by Jason Sievers. It is terrible!
It's cartoonish (and believe me, I've had enough of the
awful artwork and tasteless comic strips in your newspaper),
and it's just plain awful artwork. The concept is great,
but the execution of it is a bomb. Unfortunately, a lot
of people think if you put adorable children in whatever,
it will be accepted and raved about. I'm sick of the 'bottom
of the barrel artwork' that often prevails and I would literally
throw up in my car if that bus drove by me. There is nothing
pleasing in this artwork--excuse me, jr. high scratches.
Countless numbers of people are going to see these buses,
including visitors--and I would not be proud of having them
see that awful picture zooming around town. We want to show
off our talent and good taste to everyone--and that picture
just turns my stomach. For this choice, replace it with
some Picasso or Van Gogh. That would be great!" - concerned

"Jason
Sievers bus wrap is clever but says nothing about Boise
and seems to be just another cartoon/animated picture that
has become the new art form for everything and overdone,
I.e. from commercials to major films." - concerned

"It
is an offence to decorate a bus. It should just be for transportation.
The items are reasonably attractive but not on a bus. If
that is the best we can come up with then we should do something
else." - concerned Boise citizen
"Clay
people!!! All are wonderful. Rowe's is lovely, but not enough
of a departure from Ward Hooper's work. Let's do something
totally new and unique - Clay People!" - concerned
